In a bid to ensure public safety and maintain law and order, the government has deployed 10 platoons of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) across key locations in Dhaka and Chattogram.
Four platoons have been stationed in Dhaka’s Shahbagh, Matshya Bhaban, and Hotel Intercontinental areas. Meanwhile, six platoons have been assigned to Chattogram’s metropolitan areas to prevent any untoward incidents.
The BGB confirmed the deployments through two official messages, emphasizing their readiness to handle any situation.
